Vinny Caruso has been building on Long Island since before he had a company. Born in Huntington, he spent 12 years in residential construction learning every trade: framing, roofing, concrete, finish carpentry.
In 2011, he walked away from a general contracting job to start Long Island Deck Co.. The reason was simple: he wanted to build the right way, with his own crew, and stand behind every project personally. He still walks every finished job before the crew packs up.
Today, Long Island Deck Co. has completed 1650+ projects across Nassau and Suffolk County. Vinny has a crew of 22 full-time builders — not subcontractors, not seasonal help. The same crew shows up on day one and finishes the job.
