When stamped concrete beats pavers
If you want one continuous surface with no joints — no polymeric sand, no weed pressure, no shifting stones — stamped concrete is the answer. It's a single 4-inch pour reinforced with rebar or fiber, stamped with mats that press flagstone, cobble, ashlar, or custom patterns into the fresh surface.
Integral color (mixed into the concrete) gives the base tone. A release powder stain gives the natural variation and highlights. A UV-stable acrylic sealer locks in the color and protects the surface. The finished patio reads as stone — most people can't tell it's concrete until they look closely.

Long Island stamped concrete reviews
They showed up when they said, built what they promised, and handled every permit themselves. I didn't touch a town hall form.
The crew was clean, Vinny walked the job every day, and the final walk-through caught things I wouldn't have noticed.
Third project with Long Island Deck Co. in six years. They deliver every time.
